Challenge
Designing the UI/UX branding for our Young-Onset Type 2 Diabetes Self-Management App in Metro Manila presented several challenges. Adapting to the diverse cultural context and technological literacy among users was complex. Balancing a user-friendly interface with the necessary complexity for tracking health data (blood sugar, exercise, diet) proved challenging. Fostering long-term user engagement while addressing the sensitive nature of health tracking posed a significant hurdle. Achieving a visually appealing and intuitive interface that encourages regular use required constant collaboration, user feedback, and iterative design processes.
Goal
Our goal at Diacare is to seamlessly empower Filipinos with Young-Onset Type 2 Diabetes in Metro Manila by providing a user-friendly and culturally sensitive Self-Management Mobile Application, facilitating efficient tracking of critical health data for improved well-being.
